DigiFT Unveils Tokenized Index Funds for AI Stocks and Crypto Assets
DigiFT, a Singapore-regulated crypto exchange, is launching an on-chain index fund that tokenizes real-world equities and digital assets, offering investors a blockchain-native way to trade traditional stocks.
Licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, DigiFT has partnered with Hash Global to introduce two index funds: one tracking leading AI stocks, including Apple, Tesla, and Microsoft, and another focused on top cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana.
Unlike traditional investment structures, these funds operate using smart contracts and stablecoins, replacing intermediaries such as banks and brokers. Investors can subscribe and redeem holdings using USDT or USDC, with real-time fund data available on the blockchain for full transparency.
“Tokenizing real-world assets on-chain eliminates inefficiencies and unlocks new levels of accessibility and liquidity for investors,” said Henry Zhang, CEO of DigiFT.
DigiFT’s model allows 24/7 access to funds, increased liquidity, and greater transparency, making it a significant step toward the adoption of tokenized financial products. Hash Global highlighted that tokenizing equities is one of the most impactful use cases for blockchain technology in traditional finance.
Initially, the funds will be available exclusively to accredited and institutional investors.
