Coinbase’s Brian Armstrong Joins $1M Bitcoin Club With Bold 2030 Forecast
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has publicly predicted that bitcoin could soar to $1 million by the end of the decade, aligning himself with other high-profile bulls like Jack Dorsey and Ark Invest’s Cathie Wood.
“I think we’ll see $1 million per bitcoin by 2030,” Armstrong said in a post on X this week, referencing his appearance on the Cheeky Pint podcast. The rarely-issued price target adds to growing confidence among crypto advocates that institutional tailwinds could fuel dramatic gains.
Armstrong’s outlook echoes Dorsey’s past comments and comes just weeks after Ark Invest revised its 2030 projection for bitcoin as high as $3.8 million, citing accelerated adoption among major financial players.
Bitcoin is currently trading at around $114,383, up 22% year-to-date after touching a new all-time high above $124,000. The rally has strengthened its appeal as a potential inflation hedge and digital store of value.
Adding to the optimism, SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci said last week he expects bitcoin to reach $180,000–$200,000 within five months — and believes even that may prove conservative.
