Bitcoin Falls Below $109K as Key Conference Pattern Signals Pressure

Bitcoin (BTC) fell sharply during the Bitcoin Asia conference in Hong Kong, repeating a familiar pattern of weak price action around Bitcoin Magazine events.

BTC traded near $115,000 at the start of the week but has since dropped to $108,400, including a 4% overnight slide in U.S. trading. The decline mirrors performance seen in May and June, when Bitcoin stumbled during and after the Las Vegas edition of the conference.

Analysts argue that heavy pre-event hype and lofty promises often leave markets disappointed once the spotlight turns to speeches and panels.
