Bitcoin Climbs Above $93,000 as Crypto Outperforms U.S. Stocks
Bitcoin (BTC$84,578.75) rebounded to $93,500 Tuesday morning after briefly dipping below $90,000 overnight, posting a roughly 1% gain over the past 24 hours. The recovery comes even as U.S. stocks continue to struggle, with the Nasdaq down 1.1% and gold falling 0.3%.
Altcoins showed stronger moves, with ether (ETH$2,751.02), Solana (SOL), BNB (BNB$827.99), and XRP (XRP$1.9505) rising between 2.5% and 4%. While the outperformance is currently short-lived, it offers hope for bulls after months of relative weakness versus stocks and gold.
Crypto-related equities also outperformed. MicroStrategy (MSTR) surged 8.3% following a 30% drop last month. Bitmine Immersion (BMNR) gained 7% after a 40% monthly loss, while Coinbase (COIN), Circle (CRCL), and Bullish (BLSH) advanced roughly 1.5% each.
