eToro Adds Dogecoin, XRP, Shiba Inu, and Nine Other Cryptocurrencies to U.S. Platform After Nasdaq IPO

eToro Expands Crypto Offerings in U.S. with 12 New Tokens

Trading platform eToro (ETOR) has broadened its cryptocurrency selection for U.S. users by adding 12 new digital assets, including popular tokens like Dogecoin (DOGE), Cardano (ADA), and XRP, the company announced Wednesday.

With these additions, eToro now offers a total of 15 cryptocurrencies to its American customers. The new lineup also features Aave (AAVE), Chainlink (LINK), Compound (COMP), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Litecoin (LTC), Uniswap (UNI), Stellar (XLM), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and Yearn Finance (YFI). Previously, U.S.-based traders could only access Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Ethereum (ETH) on the platform.

This expansion aligns with eToro’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the U.S. market, catering to growing retail demand and competing with established platforms such as Coinbase (COIN) and Robinhood (HOOD).

The announcement follows eToro’s recent Nasdaq debut, making it the first U.S.-listed crypto company amid a challenging market environment and ongoing trade tensions. Meanwhile, stablecoin issuer Circle has also taken steps toward going public, having filed for its IPO on Tuesday.

Despite the macroeconomic uncertainties, eToro’s initial public offering was met with enthusiasm, raising approximately $310 million—exceeding expectations and highlighting investor interest in platforms that combine traditional stock and cryptocurrency trading.

On Wednesday, eToro’s shares dipped slightly to $64.15 but remain well above the IPO price of $52.
