Hackers Masquerade as Saudi Crown Prince in Deceptive Memecoin Scheme

Hackers Hijack Saudi Law Conference’s X Account to Promote Fake Memecoins

Cybercriminals took over the Saudi Law Conference’s official X account, falsely presenting Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as the backer of fraudulent cryptocurrency projects.

The hackers posted misleading messages promoting an “Official Saudi Arabia Memecoin” and a “FALCON Memecoin,” complete with contract addresses to attract unsuspecting investors. These posts have since been deleted.

In an official statement on LinkedIn, the Saudi Law Conference confirmed the account breach, distancing itself from the fraudulent promotions.

“Our X account was compromised, and we are actively working to regain control. We disclaim all responsibility for unauthorized posts and urge followers to avoid interacting with suspicious content,” the organization stated.

This attack follows recent controversy involving Argentine President Javier Milei, who deleted a promotional post about the now-collapsed Libra memecoin, sparking legal scrutiny.
