ICP Climbs Amid Consolidation Under Key $6.66 Level

ICP Consolidates Between $6.05 and $6.66 After Breakout Stalls

Internet Computer (ICP) remained confined to a narrow range on Wednesday, trading between key support at $6.05 and resistance at $6.66 after an early attempt to push higher stalled.

The token hovered near $6.03, up 2.25% over the past 24 hours, while maintaining a tight consolidation that has persisted since last week’s pullback from early-November highs above $9.80.

Despite the modest gain, ICP continues to face a well-defined corridor, with $6.05 support and $6.66 resistance repeatedly capping momentum over the past year, according to CoinDesk Research’s technical analysis.

Early-session activity surged to 4.27 million tokens, roughly 68% above the 24-hour average, as buyers attempted to break the $6.66 ceiling. The move quickly lost steam, and ICP retreated toward the midpoint of its range in the absence of new market catalysts.

Volume later fell sharply to just 171,000 tokens, with stretches of inactivity underscoring a temporary equilibrium rather than a decisive shift in sentiment. The token’s behavior highlights the broader range-bound structure currently guiding ICP’s price action.
