Internet Computer Holds Steady Amid Market Consolidation
Internet Computer (ICP) edged up 1.1% in the past 24 hours as price action remained confined between key support and resistance levels, according to CoinDesk Research.
The token traded in a 5.5% intraday range, bouncing between repeated support tests and brief rallies that failed to clear near-term resistance. Early trading saw heightened activity, with 1.96 million ICP tokens changing hands — 124% above the 24-hour average — briefly pushing the price toward $3.87 before stalling at $3.83.
ICP later retraced 2.6%, testing the psychological $3.70 level. A descending channel has capped gains, while a 244,000-token spike at 13:39 UTC indicated persistent supply. Despite this, support at $3.69–$3.70 held, maintaining the short-term structure.
Cross-chain development narratives are driving attention to ICP, though technical factors dominate daily moves. The token now trades in a tight range, with $3.69–$3.70 as support and $3.83 as resistance. A breakout likely requires renewed volume.
