Kalshi Prediction Data to Be Featured in CNN’s News Coverage

CNN has entered a new partnership with prediction market platform Kalshi, adding market-driven probabilities to its reporting and introducing a real-time ticker for segments built around event forecasting.

The agreement, announced Tuesday in the U.S., grants CNN continuous access to Kalshi’s live odds on political, economic, and cultural developments as market-based forecasting gains traction across major newsrooms. CNN plans to incorporate these probabilities directly into its broadcasts, using Kalshi’s data to inform on-air analysis and display up-to-the-minute market-implied odds during relevant segments.

Harry Enten, CNN’s chief data analyst, will oversee the integration. Known for his work in polling and probability modeling, Enten will incorporate Kalshi’s event contracts as an additional benchmark for evaluating potential outcomes in politics and broader cultural trends.

In addition to on-air use, the partnership extends Kalshi’s real-time feeds to CNN’s editorial, graphics, and production teams. The network says the data will support visual storytelling, deepen context in reporting, and help shape coverage around evolving expectations in major U.S. news cycles.

The collaboration follows Kalshi’s recent $1 billion fundraise, which pushed the event-contract marketplace to an $11 billion valuation.
