MARA Holdings Brings On Ex-Blue River Executive as CPO to Drive Product and Tech Strategy
Bitcoin mining firm MARA Holdings (MARA) has named Nir Rikovitch as its new Chief Product Officer, tasking him with steering the company’s product innovation and commercial growth plans.
In his new role, Rikovitch will lead efforts to design a comprehensive product roadmap and ensure that MARA’s technology solutions align closely with market demands.
“Nir’s deep expertise in product leadership and autonomous technologies—fields where orchestration, efficiency, and reliability are crucial—makes him the ideal person to advance MARA’s vision,” said Fred Thiel, CEO of MARA Holdings.
Prior to joining MARA, Rikovitch was Director of Product Management at Blue River, a subsidiary of John Deere, where he co-founded the autonomy division and played a key role in developing strategies for autonomous construction equipment and driver-assistance systems.
Speaking about his new position, Rikovitch said, “At MARA, we’re combining large-scale operations with smarter energy solutions to drive technological progress while prioritizing sustainable energy use.”
