Originally launched three years ago, Pudgy Penguins features a set of 8,888 uniquely designed, hand-drawn penguins that have gained massive popularity across social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X. As part of its evolution, the Pudgy Penguins team has announced the upcoming release of the PENGU token on the Solana blockchain, marking a significant shift in its strategy.
The PENGU token will have a total supply of 88 billion, with 23.5% of the tokens reserved specifically for Pudgy Penguins NFT holders, as well as owners of related collections such as Lil Pudgys and Pudgy Rods. Another 22.02% of the tokens will be allocated to the Solana and Ethereum communities, while 12.32% will be dedicated to liquidity on decentralized exchanges.
