American Bitcoin, Strategy Expand Treasury Holdings Amid Market Recovery
27/10/2025
Two of the largest corporate Bitcoin holders in the United States expanded their holdings this week, signaling continued institutional confidence in the asset despite heightened market volatility.
American Bitcoin Corp. (ABTC) said Monday it acquired 1,414 BTC, increasing its total reserves to 3,865 BTC as of October 24. The company also rolled out a new “Satoshis Per Share” (SPS) metric, designed to give investors clearer visibility into their indirect Bitcoin exposure through equity ownership.
Meanwhile, Michael Saylor’s Strategy (MSTR) added 390 BTC for $43.4 million at an average price of $111,053, bringing its total holdings to 640,808 BTC — valued around $71 billion at current prices. Strategy’s year-to-date Bitcoin yield stands at 26%.
Saylor’s firm pioneered the model of corporate Bitcoin accumulation, inspiring newer players like American Bitcoin, which listed on Nasdaq in September following its merger between American Data Centers, founded by President Donald Trump’s sons, and Gryphon Digital Mining.
Shares of ABTC surged 10% to $6.20 Monday morning, while MSTR gained 1.8% to trade just below $295, as Bitcoin itself climbed back above $115,000 over the weekend.
