Strategy Increases Bitcoin Reserves by 3,459 BTC, Total Holdings Reach 531,644 BTC
Strategy (MSTR) has expanded its bitcoin stash by an additional 3,459 BTC, bringing its total holdings to 531,644 BTC following a $285 million purchase.
According to a filing released Monday, the company acquired the new BTC at an average price of $82,618 per coin. With this latest purchase, Strategy’s total investment in bitcoin now stands at $35.92 billion, with an average acquisition cost of $67,556 per BTC.
The funds for this latest purchase were raised through the sale of common stock, and in response, shares of MSTR have risen by 1% in premarket trading, reflecting the continued strength of bitcoin, which remains priced above $84,000.
