Trump-Backed World Liberty Financial Buys $470K in ONDO as Ondo Finance Unveils Blockchain Plans
A wallet associated with World Liberty Financial, the DeFi platform supported by President Donald Trump and his family, has acquired approximately 342,000 ONDO tokens for $470,000 USDC via the CoW Protocol, according to Arkham Intelligence.
This latest purchase follows an earlier $245,000 ONDO investment two months ago, with the tokens recently being moved to Coinbase Prime. The acquisition comes as Ondo Finance announced plans to launch its own layer-1 blockchain tailored for tokenized real-world assets.
ONDO is currently trading at $1.298, down 3.7% in the last 24 hours amid a broader crypto market decline. Along with ONDO, World Liberty Financial has been accumulating other digital assets, including TRX and wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), as part of its expanding blockchain investment strategy.
