Metaplanet Boosts Bitcoin Holdings to 2,100 BTC With Fresh $6.6M Purchase
Metaplanet (3350) has expanded its Bitcoin reserves to 2,100 BTC, officially owning 0.01% of the total 21 million BTC supply. The company acquired an additional 68.59 BTC for $6.6 million at an average price of $96,335 per coin.
According to analyst Dylan Le Clair, Metaplanet has secured $20 million in equity capital within just two days of initiating its “21 Million Plan.” Additionally, the company has announced a 10-for-1 stock split set to take effect on April 1, a move that follows its 1-for-10 reverse split just eight months ago.
In response, Metaplanet shares have gained over 1% in today’s trading, currently standing at 6,260 JPY.
