XRP Whale Wallets Surge to Record High as Daily Network Activity Jumps

New on-chain data reveals a spike in large XRP holders and user activity, even as the token’s price performance remains subdued.

According to analytics platform Santiment, the number of wallets holding 1 million or more XRP has exceeded 2,700, marking an all-time high in the network’s 12-year history. The increase points to rising accumulation by whales and high-net-worth traders.

Meanwhile, XRP’s daily active addresses have soared, averaging more than 295,000 over the past week—a massive increase from the 35,000–40,000 range seen over the previous three months.

The token, which powers Ripple’s cross-border payment infrastructure, is currently trading at $2.23, up just 7.5% year-to-date, based on CoinDesk data. But whale accumulation and sustained user engagement may be early signs of renewed investor interest.
