Binance News: Miners Urged to Migrate Before Pool Shutdown

Binance has confirmed that Binance Pool and its related services will cease operations at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026, ending the platform’s Bitcoin mining services.

The exchange has urged miners to move their operations to alternative pools before the deadline. According to the announcement, any hashrate submissions or mining shares received after the shutdown time will not be accepted, processed, or credited.

Meanwhile, BNB, the native token of the BNB Chain ecosystem closely associated with Binance, was trading near $740, down approximately 0.5% over the previous 24 hours. Its daily trading volume was around $561 million.

Binance Pool Shutdown: What Miners Need to Do

The planned closure includes Binance Pool, Cloud Mining, Pool Savings, and Transaction Accelerator. Supporting services, such as Stratum connections, mining-pool APIs, and email and Telegram alerts, will also be affected.

Miners must redirect their equipment to another pool and close their Pool Savings accounts before the shutdown takes effect. Eligible outstanding rewards and refunds will be handled according to the applicable product terms and compliance requirements.

Binance will retain access to mining transaction histories until 07:00 UTC on November 24, 2026. This gives users an additional 14 days after the service closure to review their previous records.

The exchange has not provided a precise schedule for automatic payouts or explained how final settlements will be processed. Users should check the relevant product terms and official notices for instructions on outstanding balances rather than assume payments will follow a particular timeline.

Binance announced the decision through social media, describing it as part of a broader review of its product portfolio. However, the company has not explained the specific business or operational reasons behind the closure.

Although the shutdown date and affected services have been outlined, Binance has yet to clarify why it decided to discontinue its mining operations.

Binance Develops AI and Traditional Trading Services

Binance Pool began operating in April 2020, offering Bitcoin miners a Full Pay-Per-Share payment model. The November closure will end roughly six years of mining services on the platform.

Meanwhile, Binance is continuing to develop products in other areas, including artificial intelligence and traditional financial markets. No official information indicates that these initiatives directly prompted the mining pool shutdown.

On October 12, the exchange released a free AI market assistant following a beta program that involved approximately 150,000 users. The tool offers market insights and guidance but does not execute trades independently.

Binance has also broadened its access to U.S. equities through Nest Trading and announced plans to offer physically settled options on more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

The Block reported that Binance’s traditional-finance perpetual-futures volume increased from $29.5 billion in January to $433.4 billion in August. This growth highlights the expanding role of TradFi products within the exchange, but it does not establish a reason for the decision to close Binance Pool.

BNB Price Outlook: Key Levels to Watch

In separate market developments, BNB traded at approximately $740.27 on October 14, according to the figures cited in the report. CoinGecko data showed the token gaining 0.5% over 24 hours while remaining 4.4% lower over the previous seven days.

Its market capitalization was around $98.57 billion, with daily trading volume near $555.82 million. BNB continued to trade significantly below its all-time high of $1,369.99 as selling pressure weighed on its performance.

From a technical perspective, the $736–$718 range could serve as a near-term support area. Resistance is positioned around $746 and $775, potentially limiting upward momentum.

If BNB moves decisively above these resistance levels, a recovery could gain strength. A decline below the support zone, however, could expose the token to additional downside pressure.

Future price movements will also depend on broader cryptocurrency market conditions and activity across the BNB Chain ecosystem. Greater adoption of network applications could support demand for the token.

Until stronger buying activity returns, subdued trading volume may encourage a cautious approach. Bitcoin’s performance will also remain an important indicator of the broader crypto market’s direction.
