Bitwise Leads $11M XRP ETF Inflows Despite Price Decline

U.S. spot XRP ETFs attracted $11.31 million in net inflows during the week of October 5–9, even as XRP declined from around $1.52 to $1.40 and briefly touched $1.32. The contrasting movements highlight uncertainty over whether continued ETF demand can sustain the $1.32–$1.38 support zone or whether XRP needs to climb back above $1.50–$1.56 to establish a stronger short-term trend.

Bitwise led the weekly inflows with $10.55 million, accounting for most of the capital entering XRP ETFs. Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ added $4.10 million, whereas Canary Capital’s XRPC recorded $3.34 million in net outflows. Three of the five trading days registered no net flows.

When Bitwise is excluded, the other funds collectively attracted only about $760,000. This suggests that the 12-week streak of positive inflows has been driven largely by one issuer rather than widespread demand across the market. The coming weeks will show whether investment activity expands across competing products or continues to rely heavily on Bitwise.

Total net assets across XRP ETFs stood at approximately $1.57 billion, compared with cumulative net inflows of around $1.8 billion since launch. The roughly $230 million difference provides a broad indication of the gap between historical inflows and current fund values, although it does not precisely represent investor losses.

XRP also outperformed other cryptocurrency fund categories in terms of weekly flows. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced $681 million in net outflows over the same period, while XRP was the only category among the cited Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, and XRP products to record positive net flows. Nevertheless, this relative strength does not guarantee that ETF demand can counter continued selling pressure in the spot market.

XRP Faces a Critical Test at $1.32–$1.38

XRP opened the week near $1.52 before closing Friday at approximately $1.40. The token also fell to a low of $1.32 on October 8, resulting in a weekly decline of about 7.3% based on the opening and closing prices.

The $1.32–$1.38 range is the next important support area. If XRP holds above this zone while ETF inflows remain positive, it could indicate that investors are taking advantage of lower prices. However, a temporary recovery would not necessarily confirm a lasting bottom. A clear break below support would suggest that existing fund demand has not been sufficient to halt the downward trend.

The $1.50–$1.56 range remains the key resistance zone. A sustained move above these levels would provide stronger evidence of improving momentum than a brief intraday rally. Until that happens, positive ETF flows should be viewed as a supportive factor rather than confirmation of a bullish reversal.

Evernorth Expands Listed XRP Exposure

Evernorth’s XRPN began trading on Nasdaq on October 12, providing another listed investment option for those seeking exposure to XRP. The vehicle reportedly holds around 473 million XRP, although its immediate impact on spot-market demand and the token’s price remains uncertain.

XRP’s outlook will depend partly on whether buyers can defend support and whether ETF inflows broaden across multiple issuers. Consistent demand from a wider range of funds would strengthen the case for accumulation during price declines. Conversely, a breakdown below support or continued reliance on a single issuer would weaken the argument that ETF activity is establishing a sustainable price floor.

For now, a sustained recovery above $1.50–$1.56 remains the clearest technical signal of potential short-term improvement. Evernorth’s XRP holdings may provide an additional source of demand, but their influence on market prices has yet to be established.
