Strategy has resumed its Bitcoin accumulation after a nearly two-month break, making its first BTC purchase since the end of June.
The company, led by Executive Chairman Michael Saylor, bought 4,603 Bitcoin last week for roughly $369.7 million. The average purchase price was about $80,318 per BTC.
Strategy financed the acquisition through $602.8 million raised from common-stock sales, according to its Monday announcement. It used $151.8 million of the remaining funds to repurchase STRC preferred shares, while the balance was added to its cash reserves.
Following the latest acquisition, Strategy’s Bitcoin holdings increased to 845,050 BTC. The company has invested around $63.73 billion in its Bitcoin portfolio, with an average cost of $75,412 per coin.
MSTR rose 1.65% in premarket trading, while Bitcoin was trading near $78,400, slightly higher than its late-Friday level.
