Truth Social-Linked Spot Bitcoin ETF Filed with SEC via NYSE Arca
A new Bitcoin ETF connected to Donald Trump’s media brand is officially in the pipeline.
On Tuesday, NYSE Arca submitted a 19b-4 filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) seeking approval to list the Truth Social Bitcoin ETF, a spot bitcoin fund issued by Yorkville America Digital. The issuer is partnered with Trump Media & Technology Group, the company behind the Truth Social platform.
According to the filing, digital asset custody will be provided by Foris DAX Trust Company, also known for servicing Crypto.com’s crypto reserves.
This filing marks an initial regulatory step, but a separate S-1 from Yorkville is still required before the ETF can launch. If approved, the product would bring politically branded crypto exposure to public markets for the first time.
The move comes amid sustained investor demand for spot bitcoin ETFs and could tap into Truth Social’s large, politically engaged user base.
