Solana ETFs Post Best Week With $188M Inflows, Bitwise Takes 66%

U.S. spot Solana ETFs pulled in a record $188 million in net inflows last week, with every one of the seven funds attracting fresh capital. Bitwise’s BSOL accounted for about two-thirds of the total.

The funds also posted their strongest single-day intake on Friday, bringing in approximately $87 million.

BSOL led the weekly figures with about $128 million collected across the five trading sessions through Sept. 25. Grayscale’s GSOL attracted approximately $28 million, while Fidelity’s FSOL recorded $18 million, according to figures published by Solana’s official account.

The remaining $14 million flowed into products from Morgan Stanley, VanEck, Franklin Templeton and 21Shares.

Friday Accounts for Nearly Half of Flows

Friday’s inflows represented almost half of the week’s total and established a new daily record for the group.

Bitwise’s fund contributed about $56 million of the day’s $87 million, while Grayscale’s GSOL attracted another $19 million.

Spot Solana ETFs allow investors to gain exposure to SOL through traditional brokerage platforms without directly holding the token or managing a cryptocurrency wallet.

ETF net inflows reflect capital entering the products after outflows. They do not represent the value of shares traded between investors in the secondary market.

Bitwise Holds Largest Cumulative Share

BSOL has maintained a substantial lead in cumulative Solana ETF flows.

The fund has attracted roughly $1.2 billion of the approximately $1.6 billion in combined net inflows across the seven products since launch, giving Bitwise around 76% of the overall total.

Its share during the latest week was lower, at approximately 68%, as competing products collectively brought in around $60 million.

Bitcoin and Ether Products Also Gain

Strong demand extended beyond Solana-focused products.

U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately $2.4 billion in inflows for the week, while ether ETFs attracted around $690 million, according to CoinDesk calculations based on Farside’s daily data.

SOL was trading near $119 during Monday’s Asian morning session, leaving it about 60% below its record high of approximately $293.

Alpenglow Advances Through Testing

The ETF inflows come as Solana developers continue testing Alpenglow, a proposed network upgrade focused on faster transaction finality.

The upgrade targets a reduction in the time required for a transaction to become effectively irreversible from about 12.8 seconds to approximately 150 milliseconds.

Alpenglow entered its second public test environment Friday. The 150-millisecond figure remains a target, and developers have not announced when the upgrade will reach Solana’s live network.
