Strategy raised $333.7 million last week after selling 3.46 million shares of its common stock, according to a filing released Monday.
The Bitcoin-focused treasury company, headed by Executive Chairman Michael Saylor, made no changes to its Bitcoin position during the week ended Aug. 16. Its holdings remained at 840,447 BTC, which were purchased for a combined $63.36 billion at an average cost of $75,385 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses.
Strategy allocated $132.2 million of the stock-sale proceeds to repurchase 1,388,720 shares of its variable-rate preferred stock, STRC. It also spent $52.4 million on STRC dividends and directed about $150 million toward its U.S. dollar reserve.
The company’s dollar reserve reached $4.80 billion as of Aug. 16, extending its liquidity duration to 2.8 years. Strategy plans to use the reserve to meet preferred-stock dividend obligations and cover interest payments on its debt.
Following the latest activity, the company has $653 million remaining in its preferred-stock buyback authorization and another $1 billion available for MSTR common-stock repurchases.
MSTR shares rose 1.3% in premarket trading, while Bitcoin gained more than 1% over 24 hours to trade near $63,500.
